I have been a Snap-on Tools dealer for about 16 years. The tool trucks you see on the street are basically a retail store on wheels. The interior lighting, computer, printers and other accessories are powered by 12-volt deep cycle batteries or by 6-volt deep cycle batteries connected in series . These batteries see heavy use 12 hours a day, five days a week. I first learned of your product in April of 2000.

stalled for the deep cycle functions. The truck was delivered with only 2 6-volt batteries installed. Most trucks operate with 4 6-volt batteries connected in series and parallel. I installed 2 additional 6-volt batteries in my truck about 4 months later to increase my reserve power.

I had not yet seen the benefit of the Thermoil battery, so I purchased Interstate batteries from a local shop. I now had the Thermoil and the Interstate batteries sitting side by side in my battery box.

It has always been necessary to add water to the batteries on these trucks on a monthly basis. it was also necessary to clean corrosion from the posts and cables every three months.

The Interstate batteries required the traditional maintenance, but began to notice that the Thermoil batteries never needed water or cleaning. My original Thermoil batteries are now two and a half years old. I have never added water to them or had to clean corrosion. Both Thermoil Batteries still look like new. The Interstates, which I had added, had to be replaced after 13 months. Thanks for the great money saving and maintenance saving product.

Hi Terry!

My brother, Joseph, purchased 48 bottles of THERMOIL De-Mister from you about 3 years ago for our traction batteries in our electric vehicles. He has a 1980 Plymouth Horizon TC3 /Jet Electrica 007 electric vehicle. I have a 1981 Bradley GTElectric.

My brother’s electric vehicle is still holding a charge like they were new, because he only drives his EV at the most 6 miles per day, and charges his battery pack once per week.

Using these products will increase battery performance, decrease maintenance, and eliminate corrosion. The statistics on 3 years of driving my EV consists of … 14,700 miles and 840 charge cycles on the traction pack. (we usually get about 45 miles on level terrain per charge cycle.

NOTE: I forgot to check my water/acid level last August, so the water/acid level was below the the plates. THERMOIL De-Mister protected the plates from drying out. I added distilled water into the cells using a “”battery water filler bottle””. I drove it after that without any problems until it started snowing in November. You know them Michigan winters!! My battery traction pack is starting to show some wear. My range is not the same as new. (you have to expect that with all of those charge cycles) I think a dose of THERMOIL De-Sulfater will solve that problem.

We are very happy with your THERMOIL De-Mister product! We charge both of our EVs in the “”house”” garage, and have never gotten any overwhelming sulfur cloud or smell. Another thing we noticed on both of our EVs, that our battery terminals do not have any corrosion on them. NOTE: This is our second set of battery packs for our EVs. The first battery packs consisted of CarQuest gel cells. (without THERMOIL De-Mister) They lasted only 1 1/2 years before they died! That was an expense that we could not afford a second time! THERMOIL De-Mister (in our opinion) saved our wallets alot of money! Each battery cost $90.00 A new traction battery pack cost my brother… 20 x $90.00 = $1,800.00, and new traction battery pack cost me 15 x $90.00 = $1,300.00 We didn’t only use THERMOIL De-Mister for our EVs…

I have a deep cycle battery on my sailboat. My brother has a Kubota tractor, a fifth wheel camper trailer and pull behind camper trailer, all with THERMOIL De-Mister added to their batteries.

Terry Fellner, you have a fantastic product!

Thank you for your good business. (and helping in the clean environmental cause).

We run a Mobile dog grooming business and make a significant investment in batteries to remotely power the operation. Not only has the water consumption dropped to a fraction of the normal usage, (about 1/3 a gallon per month for the entire bank) But at 1.5 years of daily use, I can detect NO derogation of capacity. Banks normally last about 3 years before they have to be replaced.

These are acting like they are brand new…. Better even! Look closely at the photos, There is no corrosion, ZERO. It’s a game changer, I don’t know how long they will last. But I’ll let you know.

UPDATE: It is now March 7th, 2016 and my batteries just died. 6 years and never had any corrosion anywhere and much less water consumption during these 6 years. WOW! I have never gotten more than 3 years on my batteries. I’m sold.

WE WILL NEVER HAVE A BATTERY AGAIN THAT WE DON’T PUT THERMOIL BATTERY DE-MISTER IN!
Thank you Thermoil for such a great product.
