Motorhome & Fifth Wheel

Dear Terry,

I am sending you this e-mail to thank you for your product.

It has proven itself to me as a phenomenal product — Let me explain. I have a 1999 37 foot class A Tradewinds Motor Home manufactured by National Products out of Perris, California. My wife and I took delivery of this unit December 2, 1998. Not knowing at the time there was anything special about our house batteries, when they were manufactured etc., I kept telling my wife it seemed strange but wonderful that our house batteries had not failed after 8 plus years of hard use. I check the batteries on a regular basis and only had to add a VERY small amount of water at any time. A week ago it seemed I had to add a little more than usual — I now feel it was because of the extra warm weather.

However, it got me to thinking how old the batteries are and wondered about replacement, feeling they may fail at any time. I felt due to the age of the batteries and not really knowing anything about Thermoil (which was labeled on the batteries) I should try to contact the company to find out where and how to replace the batteries with like kind since I have been very satisfied. As you can note by the photos, the batteries are clean and I have NEVER had any corrosion on the contacts — UNHEARD OF. After speaking with you I feel very confident with the product and will definitely add your oil to my replacement batteries when the need arises.

Thank you again,

Ray

Dear Thermoil,

I have a 1996 Teton 5th wheel RV, that I took possession on 11/3/1995 from the Teton factory in Casper Wy. I have the original Thermoil Batteries, that check out good. The only thing I have done to these batteries is adding water 2 times in 12.5 years.

We have been living in the RV full time since purchasing it new in 1995. I am going to add Thermoil Battery De-mister to the 2 batteries on my Diesel truck, and to the 1 battery on my VW Jetta Diesel car.

I can’t believe I’ve had the batteries almost 11 years and have not checked the web before now.

I have a 1997 Mountain Aire by Newmar that has four of the Thermoil 12 volt batteries for the coach use. This motorhome was purchased 11/01/96 and has never had a problem with the coach batteries. I would like to know if it is possible to purchase the Thermoil batteries from anywhere. I understand a bottle of oil can be added to other batteries but I would still like to order 4 – 12 volt Thermoil Batteries if possible. I can’t believe I’ve had the batteries almost 11 years and have not checked the web before now. I have told hundreds of campers about the batteries and they can’t believe these are the original ones.

Thanks,

Preston Burgess
